Squier Classic Vibe 70's HSS Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Black - Maple Fretboard
A tip of the hat to the large-headstock Strat models produced in the 1970s, the Classic Vibe ‘70s Stratocaster HSS creates incredible tone courtesy of the Fender-Designed alnico pickups.
Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5”-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style tremolo system for expressive string bending effects.
This throwback Squier model also features 1970s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.
VINTAGE FOR THE MASSES
The solid Poplar body is finished off in the classic Clapton-style Black and is protected by a slender layer of Gloss Polyurethane, preserving it for a long as possible and allowing it to age gracefully. The Poplar provides a deeply resounding character with emphasis on the upper-midrange. Poplar is a balanced tonewood that gives you full-bodied tone and clarity of sound. Coupled with the distinctive Strat double-cutaway the Classic Vibe 70s sounds immense with great upper fret access.
Fitted to the body is a Maple neck joined with an Indian Laurel fingerboard. This classic combination gives you a warm and sweet tonality that's as equally suited to blues licks as it is to hard rock riffing. The comfortable 'C' shape profile makes this neck incredibly easy to glide along, whilst the Tinted Gloss Urethane finish ensures that playing feel is consistently smooth. 21 Narrow Tall frets coupled with Pearloid Dot fret markers ensure you never lose your way. A large-style Strat headstock with 70s-inspired markings gives even more vibe to this classic style Squier Strat.
ROCK STEADY HARDWARE
The three Fender-designed Alnico Single Coil pickups give you an impressive range, from sparkling, shimmering cleans to lush and warm lead tones. With the 5-way selector, master volume and two tone control knobs you can cut pretty much any sound from this guitar with a little tweaking, leaving you to concentrate on your playing. A vintage-style Tremolo system lets you add expression and texture to your sound with raises, dips and flutters. Coupled with a 6-Saddle bridge and Vintage-Style tuning machines you can be assured of rock-solid tuning stability whether on stage, in the studio, or practising at home.
The Squier Classic Vibe 70s Stratocaster plays, sounds and looks amazing giving you vintage demeanour with modern playability at a price range that won't break the bank.
