Pre-Loved? Resale? Condition? What does all that mean?

We place our pre-loved and ex-demo deals, as well as their conditions, into pre-defined categories to help illustrate the history of the instrument, as well as give a guide to it's condition. Please note, the item may have further information in the details, as well as indicative photographs to help.

Below is a general guide:

The product is brand new, with a full warranty, and has either been soiled over time or has marks that are described in detail.

The product is strictly speaking a pre-owned instrument but as it was originally purchased from us as a new instrument we have a greater knowledge of its history (including any servicing). As such these products benefit from a longer 1-year warranty

The product has been traded-in and meets our stringent quality checks at the point of receipt. As a result it benefits from a warranty of at least 60-days - and possibly longer if indicated.

Great Condition - very few signs of use
The product is in full working order and is free from any major knocks or marks. It could well be immaculate and as-new (possibly ex-demo stock) but in any case the signs of playing will be minimal.

Good Condition - some small signs of use
The product is again in full working order and any marks or knocks are relatively insignificant. Wear and tear may be visible but it does not impact upon the instrument’s playability or operation.

Okay Condition - some noticeable signs of use
The product is full working order but will likely have some visible knocks and marks. Any wear and tear is noticeable but nonetheless only affects the aesthetics.
