The previous revisions of 2015 and 2017 remain, with the beautiful natural wood aesthetics, the super-thin lacquer and the ES:2 expression system; why re-invent the best wheel you could invent? But by adding the V-Class bracing a few years ago there was suddenly an even greater sustain to the high notes, and a greater sense of pure intonation throughout the tessitura. This year's revision adds the wonderful radius'ed arm rest which offers remarkable comfort for long playing sessions.
In short, this is the most likely guitar the pro players will turn to, and you should give it a shot yourself!
